Neural Activity of the Dorsomedial Striatum During the 5-Choice Serial Reaction Time Task

My research examines the role of the dorsomedial striatum (DMS) in impulsivity, perseveration, attention, and motivation using the 5-Choice Serial Reaction Time Task in C57BL/6 mice. By analyzing neural activity in the DMS, this study provides insights into the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive control, with implications for understanding addiction and neurodegenerative diseases.
